Medically, cough drops containing menthol/benzocaine are effective for sore throat. Should help numb the pain while it heals. Syrups also work but are harder to dose.
Anecdotally, teas containing lemon, ginger, and/or honey. Tbh just honey in general. Goes great on a sandwich with peanut butter 😋
