A beatiful snowy Lassen Volcanic National Park. January image in my 2025 Calendar (link in profile.) In December of 2016 my brother and I went to some boiling mud pits and the steam combined with just a bit of the mistiness of the surrounding area made for a gorgeous view.

Startrails over Lassen. It's fun to sit under the stars and watch them move slowly as the Earth rotates beneath. This is 45 minutes showing the paths that the stars take while the camera was pointed towards the center of thr Milkyway.

Rainbow in the waterdrops. Possibly my favorite picture I've ever taken. Christmas image in my 2025 Calendar (Link in profile.) On a hike a few years ago, I noticed a rainbow in the mist of a small waterfall. It's incredible to watch the colors transform in the drops.

Aurora over Mt. Shasta. Cover image of my 2025 Calendar. (link in profile) In May, I had the amazing experience of watching the Northern Lights dance over the mountain. It looked incredible to my human eyes as the colors were clear and the rays danced. In a long exposure photo it looks magical.

First post! Here's one of my favorite images and what I most often use for my profile pictures. Burney Falls in Northern looks beautiful any time of day and in any season. It also lines up perfectly with the Milkyway. This shot is from 2015. Need to make it back out there with better gear!
