a tiny adventurer runs down an endless stairwell spiraling down without railings through statue lines floors of a neglected castle. The image is framed by spiders looking inwards at the lost adventurer as well as two cloaked old women clutching daggers and holding out a bell in front of them so though it were a guiding lantern. The only colors in the image are reds and grays.

Okay I need help. Does ANYONE know what artist this is because this is the ENTIRE vibe I am going for with the are for #Aspirant. Look at it! The red! The rotting castle! An infinite stairway that defies physics. The feeling that you are very small being swallowed whole by a space. REAL BIG bugs.

FYI for fellow narrative designers/game writers: the studio in question is Sentona Games and it’s my understanding they are currently interviewing to replace me. Be very careful with them. They were very nice to me and easy to work with right up until I needed the money I was promised.

Yeah, I knew that NZ and Australia were muuuuch further apart than most realise, but I wondered if (hoped that) there might be a decent shipping system between the two. It seems the only thing that would help is a large convention to pop up in NZ, but that kind of thing doesn't happen overnight.

Could there be a system in which publishers send review copies meant for specific reviewers to a North American hub (or China if copies are coming from manufacturers) then, when a threshold is hit, ship them to a southern hemisphere hub and from there to the likes of you and @meampongan.bsky.social?
