Yeah they're essentially glorified supports. Back in the early versions they did serve a purpose but nowadays you got plenty of parries so they kinda became obsolete.

It sucks cuz the game still makes a lot of money and its most likely one of ZUN's major income streams so he has to put up with it

I used to be a dedicated player for the first 2 years then as the meta became more and more shitty i just left and never came back.

tldr is girl goes out to beat up other women who are potentially causing trouble until she finds the responsible one, beats her up, then they have tea together

Personally, I consider the easiest game to be either PCB or WBaWC, Touhou is pretty easy but once you play beyond hard, lunatic can be really brutal, likewise for the extra stage, but below lunatic IS pretty straightforward

The extra stage is also fairly challenging but its not THAT tough imo

Game itself is one of the funnest Touhou games I've played in years~ Difficulty is on the sweet spot of toughness but its still really harsh for people who aren't experienced enough. Normal mode is equivalent to LoLK on hard sometimes..but that aside, 9/10 game
