If the last 10-15 years of women's cricket seemed to develop at a dizzying rate, it will look like nothing compared with what's about to come.

If most boards don't find ways of rapidly professionalising their domestic systems, they will very quickly fade from being remotely competitive.

The WACA bounce is exceptional so I think it’ll be fascinating… esp if the points dictate that one side needs to win to be victorious in the multi format

…Healy is as “Test wise” a Captain as a woman in the current era can be…

…well jealous of anyone seeing it live in Oz

Depending what happens in the ODIs, the Test could be fascinating. You would expect Australia to have a big advantage in that longer format, I think? Absolutely love that they have made this series multi-format. #AUSvIND

Suspect it will mostly be the same two in the last two for the foreseeable future (Australia and India), just with blue starting to win a bit more often than yellow.

I prefer my optimism 😁

What a great tournament in Nepal. So pleased to see Scotland join Ireland, Netherlands and Bangladesh in England this summer. Nepal are co-hosting the under 19 world cup with Bangladesh this time next year. Expect more geo-political manoeuvring from BJP-BCCI-ICC.

Looks like I will be buying tickets to see Scotland play in a cricket World Cup!
