Had the opportunity to go out and meet Mark Carney tonight. Sadly, my anxiety can't handle the crowds anymore. I've met Trudeau a few times too. I live in a Con stronghold, yet a Con leader hasn't shown up here in many, many years. Always just the Libs. You can tell who cares and who doesn't.

Canada is now doing the same and looking at other options.

The plan would be to nationalize ALL natural resources. They belong to all of us, so we should all prosper from that. FN included.

There is more, a lot more, but I'm sure you think I'm nuts by this point anyway. The main goal is to become as defensible and self sufficient as possible. A port in the north would make us an unstoppable global trade power.

Develop a land-value tax to give much needed tax cuts to the middle class and poor. Increase disability payments to at least minimum wage and tie to inflation. Extra payments for those who can't work in any capacity. 7/8

Setup desalinization plants on both coasts. Create large hydroponic grow-ops to grow food year-round. Develop cheaper and more efficient geo-thermal heating. Full investment in healthcare with 100% coverage (dental, eye, mental, prescriptions, etc.) 6/8

Ban all foreign ownership of domestic media. Split the monopolies up. Divest from mega corps, and invest exclusively in small/medium business. Offer corporate tax breaks based on percentage of Canadian workers employed. Build more nuclear power plants. Setup more solar arrays. 5/8

Tech - Develop methods to build year long infrastructure on permafrost. As things warm, we'll be moving north, but we'll need to develop ways to manage the environment. Develop better and more efficient icebreakers. 4/8

Trade - Prepare for the yearly opening of the northwest passage. Build a port city in the far north in conjunction with native population for mutual benefit. The NWP is the shortest route from Asia to Europe, even shorter than Panama. Run a dedicated mag-lev train lines to move goods south. 3/8

Military - Mandatory service of 2 years for all individuals under 30 (with exceptions). Anti-air stations along the border, and in the arctic. 4% GDP spending on military. Create nuclear weapons as a deterrent to invasion from the US. New bases along the border as well. 2/8

I absolutely hate that as a Trudeau supporter, I can't question him or his leadership without being called names. I've earned the right to question him by voting for him and am duty bound to do precisely that. I can't stand Pierre Poilievre and that is widely known. I will never vote for him.
