As elite athletes prepare for ice and snow at the Winter Olympics, our students are exploring what performance in the cold really demands. This week they tested high-intensity exercise at -10°C using a bobsled-inspired sprint protocol in our Environmental Human Performance Lab.

Boshi Liu recently passed her PhD viva with her thesis, 'Children’s Participation in Hobbies: A Qualitative Study with Chinese Children' highlighting how children's involvement is deeply relational and shaped by family interactions.
