Oh so true!

I've been working on getting more unexpected side encounters put in the game. For example: This bar is empty and abandoned until late into the night. The music is strange and nonsensical but also identifiably music. (No AI used, artists paid.)

Saturday was wonderful- a “proof of concept” on what I’d like to create, more in how I do it and structure it than anything else. Bringing together a delightful team of people to create and tell a story, while genuinely enjoying the time.

Last weekend, composer Ed Lima went to Stage One Audio in Laguna Hills to record Kim Levin playing violin live for the main theme of Casting Whispers! Some of the gear we recorded on was from the 60s/70s; we wanted to get as close to our 1961 game as feasible. Huge thanks to everyone involved!

Private Beta Update!
Huge thank you to the playtesters that have been playing and reporting! Here are some stats so far:
- 8 Critical Bugs FIXED!
- 5 substantial performance improvements made in key areas!
- Over a dozen small bugs and player experience improvements made!

Casting Whispers features many moments where Victoria doubts her senses and reality isn't what it seems. With these, I gave myself an important rule:
"If possible, do not take control away from the player."

Most of the time it is happening while in full control of Victoria, not in a cutscene.

I personally LOVE thunderstorms and I wanted to capture the cold hard flicker of lightning. But accessibility is a critical point for me, so-
Strobe Lightning can be disabled at any time, and asked when launching a new game!
