I was reading about utopias today with a sense of futility until Paul Kincaid noted the moment in literature when utopia turned from a place to a process, first in HG Wells: "The ideal, the perfect state, is almost certainly unattainable, but utopia is the process of striving towards that ideal."

Wrote over 7,000 words yesterday!!! The Illuminist draft has hit over 20k. Can't wait to disappoint my editors with it :))))

Trying to developed the visual language of Harrens culture a little more. Judy is counter productive to the process.
But their "three things" are bells, lace and loose fabric, or generally lots of fabric. Designs will change depending on their status.
