You know, whatever else there is to say about DC comics firing me, I have to say it felt deeply satisfying to tell a suit, "I get it, it's important to keep the faceless mob of Nazis happy"

This is quite literally the kind of shit you expect only in low budget/indie games. At a certain point it's flat out obscene that an IP making THIS much money on their games are comfortable knowing they can deliver that to the fans and succeed.

Especially in this installment. The whole game takes place within Lumiose City. It is the size of only ONE of many biomes in it's predecessor game. You cannot enter most of the buildings. Every district is the same default lighting, grey,blue, black. No weather system. No true day/night cycle.

Pokemon: Z-A is a game that continues Pokemon's unbroken streak of making addictive mechanics that would be very fun to get lost in if they had just bothered to finish the game instead of selling you a minimal viable product for $80.
