I read what’s currently fanslated for Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider, and unless the anime trailer was misleading/fanslation hasn’t caught up, the story is actually a comedy with pathetic characters and NOT, in fact, a story about reconnecting with your inner child as you age.

Faced Pyramid Head for the first(?) time. The walkthrough recommended using my gun, but melee-dodge canceling takes away any tension of this first fight, lowered difficulty aside. 🤭
Does easier difficulty levels increase i-frames or is dodging that good in this game?

I’m starting with SH2 Remake since its disc has been in my PS5 for over half a year now, lol. At this point in my life, I’ve unlearned shame in dropping the difficulty down and blazing through with a walkthrough.

I’m having a pretty tough year. Lots to celebrate, too, of course, but some things that really hurt my heart. I’m gonna give myself a little incentive: I’m gonna beat however many games off my backlog until it adds up to a Switch 2 and then pull the trigger on it. I deserve it.

My first (real/non-orientation) paycheck from my new job came in and, boy, it feels good. 😌

I feel like next week’s Ippo could be devastating… for Sendo. There’s no doubt in my mind Sendo will land a punch, whether it’s glancing or a solid hit, but I think Ricardo will land a crushing counter. Don’t get me wrong, the “fight” itself won’t end for another 8-10 chapters.

Fantastic Four was, well, I’d refrain from saying “fantastic”, but it really was. It and Superman really are just fueled by joy and unabashed optimism.

The action was crazy and having the Silver Surfer ACTUALLY surf light, magma, and stardust was inspired.

My RIP MvC sadness is over. I’ll be enjoying Tōkon from the sidelines. It looks like it’ll be a fun entry-level fighting game.

I LOVE how Capcom is making Sagat more authentically Muay Thai than ever in SF6. And no wonder they turned Ryu’s Denjin Hadouken into an 8-hit railgun, Tiger Cannon does 7 hits and is probably just as fast!

No more lamenting the lack of new Quake news. Now that it’s probably safe to talk DOOM The Dark Ages spoilers, all the mind-melting trickery with the shifting walls and mini psychological horror elements in the endgame’s levels are the PERFECT thesis statement for a Quake reboot.
