Continuing to meet folks where they are across all 36 (!) counties in Michigan's 1st District. This week, we're swinging to the shores of Lake Huron in the eastern Lower then hitting the south, west, and northern edges of the U.P. for a series of candidate forums!

Congress must act now to pull us back from war with Iran. Then, we must dismantle this war engine, prioritizing the well-being of our people at home over violence abroad.

Send me to Congress and I'll support Ro Khanna's House version. Time to tax the ultra-wealthy and care for the working class.

The first fucking thing we did was kill dozens of kids in a school.

Right now, all I feel is rage and grief. I know I'm not alone. Don't ignore it. Let it be fuel for purpose and action.

We need to stop our endless military expansion & pivot away from a war economy. We should be spending our resources at home improving the lives of our people, not terrorizing the world & risking American lives to enrich a powerful, amoral few.

SCOTUS has ruled that Trump's tariffs are unconstitutional.

U.S. companies not only passed those costs on to their customers, but in many cases, used tariffs as a smoke screen to raise prices even higher.

We must fight to ensure any refunds go to consumers, not corporations.

The genocide in Gaza is still on-going. Human rights abuse and annexation is still happening in the West Bank. They never stopped and you're still paying for it.

Nurses know best: your basic needs go neglected while we fund ICE's violent spectacle. Enough is enough.

At a bare minimum, the Democratic Party must:
1) Atone for their support of genocide & end aid to Israel
2) Stop allowing billionaires & corporations to determine party outcomes
3) Break with anyone named as a potential predator in the Epstein files

Valid work permit. Lived in the U.S. for 20 years. No criminal record. American spouse. In the final stages of a long legal immigration process.

He is a conservative's platonic ideal of coming here "the right way". Yet, he's been in detention for 5 months. Who does this benefit?

50 years of tax breaks, austerity, and privatization has led to this.

The tax breaks are for them. The austerity is for us. And now they own everything that the working class built.

The U.S. blockade is starving the people of Cuba. Conditions are growing more dire by the day. Their misery doesn't make your life in America better. It serves nothing but a twisted, imperialist vendetta.

End the blockade. Lift embargos. Let Cuba live.

The existence of billionaires is not incidental to your life in the working class. Wealth built on exploitation & control is naturally used to exploit & control.

Elon Musk spent $290M on the 2024 election. At $852B, his wealth grows by that much every day or so. Your democracy is a rounding error.

I'm starting to think those tax breaks ain't trickling down, folks.

Every single narrative around immigration - from economic impact to crime rate - is so easily disproven.

We should call the prevailing rhetoric what it is: immigration hysteria in service of authoritarianism and an utter waste of resources.

Love SNOW. Tolerate COLD. Abolish ICE.

Your life should be defined by more than stress, toil, and exploitation. You don't exist to boost the GDP or create shareholder value. You deserve rest and leisure.

Boastfully exporting U.S. tax dollars to fund a genocidal foreign nation.

If the Democratic party has any hope for reconciliation with the American people, this man must be nowhere near party leadership.
