Another day in Oakwood for Adelaide! 🌻👗🌲☂️

Kiku Evercrisp, she’s holding Wormo in the second picture.

Kiku is a whirlwind of energy, and aspiring sidekick to Llewellyn. She’s the proud daughter of the Evercrisp family, owners of Oakwood’s largest apple orchard.

Kiku is never without her pet worm, Wormo, who she insists is capable of speaking to her (though only she can hear him).

Llewellyn, Adelaide’s energetic little brother, was taken in by her years ago. Now, he’s a big part of her life and Oakwood. His boundless energy can be annoying at times, but he’s impossible not to love. Llewellyn dreams of becoming a hero to help everyone in Oakwood.

Magical Witch of Dreams Author's Note I've decided to add a little author's note after each part of Adelaide and Flubby. For those reading this later, I'm writing this note about a year after episode 1 was completed, and we're currently working on the second. I spent some time debating whether to include this note at the beginning or end of the story but ultimately decided on the end since I'm reflecting back on things. Adelaide and Flubby is a story that celebrates the joy of life and the simple pleasures it offers. Many works explore similar themes, and I've drawn inspiration from them particularly the Moomin series, which honestly I'll never compete with, I'll be bowing down to Tove Jansson for the rest of my life. Still, I feel Adelaide and Flubby has a voice that's uniquely my own. Adelaide and Flubby's world has grown and evolved a lot since I wrote this first episode, and I truly hope you're excited about what's to come. As a final note, this episode was created in a right-to-left format, but future releases will follow the more traditional left-to-right style typical of comics.
