Almost 100% of children in 73 neighbourhoods in England are living in income-deprived families.
Govts push real wage/benefit cuts, two-child benefit cap; oppose universal basic income; don't curb profiteering.
No govt targets to cut poverty.
1% has more wealth than 70% of the population combined.
Youβre right, my apologies. But am I wrong to assume that we are both responding to the same post about Rachel Reeves and the replies therein? Or are you solely wishing to discuss taxation with no reference to the subject of the post?
31.10.2025 22:12 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Read the replies to your post - misogyny is mentioned a number of times. This may be a result of you inferring that the sustained focus is due to her being a woman. My point is that when you make it your job to scrutinise others, itβs not a huge surprise that others will scrutinise you.
31.10.2025 21:34 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Thatβs the point Iβm making. If Iβm under scrutiny, why shouldnβt she be? Sheβs making Β£40,000 p.a. renting out her house while living in accommodation the tax payer is funding - if my earnings should be above board, why not hers? Simple question. And why is that misogyny?
31.10.2025 21:08 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Nope, I donβt think that. The King - and his mother before him - has tried to shield Andrew for years. Itβs only when the heat started to threaten the wider monarchy, that action has been taken. βHurrah, the King waited until a victim committed suicideβ doesnβt have the same ring.
31.10.2025 16:49 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0He must think weβre as stupid as him. Singing songs that you know are sectarian makes you a bigot - no timescale attached. Itβs like saying you were only a β5 minute wife beaterβ
31.10.2025 14:21 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Perhaps itβs time for you to lower your expectations? Labour have shown us time and again that theyβd rather hit the poor and vulnerable than go after their corporate donors.
31.10.2025 14:08 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0These unconscionable cuts to a vital lifeline fund for some of the most vulnerable children & young adults in England are staggering - a 60% reduction from Β£7.5K to just Β£3K per child
and even worse - these changes were introduced without consultation, warning and no evidence base
βDoing the right thingβ would have been facilitating a court of law to judge him on the evidence. Why was he allowed to evade this - itβs this revert to privilege that reflects badly on them ALL.
31.10.2025 14:02 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Nothing to do with being a woman. Iβm a Waspi woman pensioner - Rachel Reeves denied me due compensation but still has access to my bank accounts so that she can extract every last penny from me. She has no right to complain if she gets put under that same scrutiny. Whatβs good for the goose etcβ¦

Never in the history of the US has any president openly and repeatedly called for the investigation, arrest & prosecution of his political opponents. While many continue to shrug these things off and normalize them, I will never stop pointing out that this is what autocrats do.

It speaks volumes about the dire state of British politics that an MP can say that she gets mad about seeing Black and Asian people in adverts on TV and she hasn't immediately been expelled from her party - a party that hopes to form the next Govt.
