(notably the lips and nose thing, it's always been weird to me esp regarding more simple/stylised styles-- when I was a kid I didn't draw myself any differently than I drew my white peers, but I remember caring a lot about hair!). I think I forgot to comment on it back then but I read the zine when it was first released and I really enjoyed it, definitely a refreshing and inspiring read; I'm glad we seem to have some opinions in common lol
