It's insane how people use "they're human too" to try and soften our feelings about bad people. Being human isn't some moral achievement, it's a neutral biological fact.

Your moral worth isn't gifted at birth, it's earned by choosing to not do bad things like, say, excusing other bad people.

Yes, they are human beings. And as human beings, they have the ability to simply QUIT ICE if they don't like their orders.

"Being a human being" doesn't give you a free pass, and if you think it does, I have to question if you have any IDEA what kinds of atrocities human beings have committed.
