Shorthanded or not, this Sixers performance has been uninspiring at its best and disastrous at its worst.

VJ Edgecombe will sit out Sixers’ game against Utah Jazz with lumbar contusion in his back Kelly Oubre Jr. will also sit out for a second straight game because of illness.

Sixers will be without four regular starters (Edgecombe, Oubre, Embiid, George) tonight against the tanking Jazz.

Sixers say that VJ Edgecombe will miss tonight’s game vs. Utah, after an MRI confirmed a lumbar contusion following that hard fall in last night’s loss to San Antonio. He will be reevaluated ahead of the team’s next game at Atlanta.
