Also #Finished The Illustrated Man by Ray Bradbury.

I remember reading somewhere that Bradbury only contributed one story to The Twilight Zone because most of his tales would be too high budget to produce, despite fitting the vibe so well. This feels like the perfect example of that.

Visceral descriptions of scents, both terrible and divine! A flood of information on 18th century perfume making techniques! I loved it.

IT’S SO GLAMOROUS..! sometimes it veered a little into style-over-substance for me, but it was so gorgeous i didn’t mind haha
