I don’t really see the point in ever giving away an out. Only (non Ohtani) pitchers are bad enough for that to make sense and they don’t bat now. And tbh I never even liked bunting with pitchers even. I truly detest bunting.

You basically shouldn’t bunt ever with the universal DH. I think there may be ONE situation where it’s tolerable for increasing WPA but idk. I just hate bunting.
