Yeah, a House member needs to send up that impeachment flag. This is illegal, immoral, dangerous behavior — that is also likely unconstitutional as well.

And even if they had a magic boat with a 1000 mile range, there is no imminent danger that would lead to the strikes since drug trafficking a) is not a capital crime and b) not under US jurisdiction in international waters.

Nor could those boats fight or even defend themselves, as they lacked either weaponry or defensive cladding. In at least one case, the boat had engine trouble & had put up a distress signal. Nobody else does this. Nobody. The US has established a new nadir for behaviour in peacetime.

Nor could that boat, before it was bombed, reach the United States. That’s important because it refutes the laughable claim of “imminence” necessary to wrap the strikes under the auspices of a lawful armed conflict.
