I think that’s why it works, because it is gentle. It highlights the victims when people are unwilling to see perpetrators they may still be willing to see victims.

Same. I try to just “oops” and move on and remind myself I think of it as neutral, but others don’t so I didn’t intentionally insult anybody, nor did I make them reassure me for something I did even though it was an accident.

Generally the only sector of tech still making helpful things is medical tech. I know a few individual human exceptions trying to do otherwise with their businesses, but they are not in the investment stage. They are also not white guys who were born rich, huh.

If you’re rich and you plan on putting your money in a tech startup, consider the arts! If you’re not going to make money from it, you might as well invest in a good product that doesn’t make money instead of a bad product that doesn’t make money!!

Pretty much. I’ve noticed that if I talk to a trans (or cis) woman from here, I can usually say dude. If she’s not from here, I should not say dude. Exceptions obviously and trying to train myself out of ‘dude as default’ unless I know.

Germs only since long Covid/chronic fatigue. They can trigger a flareup now. Same for crowded spaces.
