Advertising used to promise you wonderful, aspirational lifestyles if you buy a given product. Now the implicit message of all advertising is “there is no escape. you are trapped in this hell whether you buy our product or not.”

I'm enjoying Demon Tides so far. I think it sits comfortably alongside its predecessor, Corn Kidz 64, Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom, and Lunistice as one of the strongest indie 3D platformers.

I just opened up Photoshop to find this strange, abstract image had been auto-saved. I stared at it for a while, trying to remember what it was supposed to represent. I remembered that it was some kind of food.
