Many years ago when I was living in Chicago, I was part of an effort to stop an immigrant jail from being built in Crete. It was a successful campaign. As part of that, we co-created a curriculum unit about mass detention & the prison industrial complex for political Ed. Sharing it here for others.

The Biden-Harris administration gave Israel 30 days to allow aid into Northern Gaza. Last week Israel announced it wouldn’t allow Palestinians to return to their homes there (ie ethnic cleansing), and it hasn’t allowed aid. Today, the US confirmed it won’t enforce any consequences.
