In this case, there were 20 seconds of footage generating 475 frames using SharpCapture software. A processing program (autostakker), through a stack algorithm, aligns the 25% best frames to generate a single image. It then goes through another program (IMPPG) that performs deconvolution (recovers part of the signal lost in the image compression process). And finally the post processing in the Affinity software. Where fine details are improved and color is added. It takes a little work at first but once you get the hang of it it gets easier. All are free software.
