Ryuuza - Commissions open!

...that I felt were needlessly difficult on standard difficulty and it kind of brought the overall experience down a little.
The story, environments and homages to older titles were absolutely beautiful though and it stands as a very solid entry in the Resident Evil series. 💖

I finished Requiem's main story yesterday! Not attempting another playthrough just yet, as I want to let it breathe for a bit, but here is a short, non-spoiler review (two posts):

I've given the main campaign an overall 8/10. Certain sections were easily 9, but there were others (thankfully few)...

So I have some good news for US followers - I sent my first order since all the tariff nonsense went down and it arrived safely and within the estimated arrival date!
It was a single pin and I don't know how bigger orders would fare, but I'm further forward than I was. 💖

There's a specific cross-section of Resident Evil and FFXIV fans that might be very happy with a particular reference in Requiem. XD
(And possibly Ancient Greece enthusiasts, but I don't know if the name would carry the same weight.)

Requiem is incredible so far, but I haven't had this bad a time with a Resident Evil game since 0. 😂

I've just put my first order in for HaruhiCon! Hoping to get a few more printed in the time available, but this at least means I'll have some of the new things I had planned, if not all. :)

(And yes, I double and triple checked that all the files were as they should be. 😏)

Here’s the thing about folks speedrunning the creative process with AI:

I could go to the beach every morning and put a grain of sand in a cup. They’d take their cup to the beach and fill it one day; but the point isn’t to have a cup of sand. It’s to fill my life with a thousand trips to the beach.

Four years ago I woke up at 5 am from distant explosions. I asked my boyfriend if he heard them too, he said he didn’t and I should go back to sleep. I tried to calm myself down, went on the internet, it was silent, no news or explanations.

Somehow, "Yoko Taro is penning the script for a new NGE series" is both the most and least surprising news I've heard in a while. 😂

Not a huge deal, but it does usually require redrawing.

If you don't know what those are, a rough explanation is they're parts of a piece that accidentally connect to others, so even if it's technically correct, it looks weird.
For example, part of the background looking like it's attached to a character in the foreground, because their edges overlap.

The most aggravating part of being an illustrator isn't wonky anatomy or composition, it's goddamn ✨TANGENTS✨.

Repeatedly following and unfollowing to bump my notifications earns an instant block, don't do it.
