I've been absent from social media recently. I have been adjusting my sleep schedule. I haven't been right since LAST fall. I finally took a week to be a zombie, and now I feel really human again. It's been weird realizing lack of sleep made me an anxious mess. But I am back to my old self now!

I have said many times that I no longer "scroll" social media. And I don't. But sometimes something so egregious occurs it reaches me by other means. Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy. Suicide is not ever a happy ending. Please don't do this. Especially not to romance readers in MM/Gay Romance.

Update on the audio for The Apprentice: Keval Shah has my "pickups" (industry term for requested corrections from our fantastic narrator), and when he's finished with them, we'll be getting that audio book out for you! I'm very excited. Meg wrote it, and I produced her audiobook. 💕

This is a reminder that I absolutely *do not scroll* on Bsky or ANY social media. If there is something you want me to know directly, you need to let me know it. I am not paying attention to anything at all right now other than getting my books finished. Well, and the news. But I read the papers.

The book we *just finished*, Flirting with the Felon, is currently with our amazing crew of early readers.

It's going on Smashwords. It has a lot of sizzling sexy goodness in it, and it also involves Kismet Leawood sleeping with his half-brother's father. We didn't want to temp fate on the 'Zon. 🤣

What am I working on this weekend? Well, thank you for asking! I'm *finally* getting to the Newsletter Book that Meg and I finished back in February. My summer has been bonkers because I had to move, which I think a lot of you know.

I love our new place! It's cozy. 💕

Here is a heads-up about the X-ray system on the Zon and Too Dear for Deer:

The system has been really wonky. I don't know what else to say about it. I've been trying since last Sunday to set it up with no joy. I will keep trying. The glossary is in the back of the book and totally useful! <3

I miss *every single person* I used to talk to on social media, but taking this big break has been wonderful for my mental health and helped me gain a new understanding of my ADHD symptoms. Sadly (or happily?), my days of scrolling are done. I am reachable at our website, though. So drop me a line!

I am so happy to be done with the editing for Too Dear for Deer! Now I'm moving on to other projects in the New Gothenburg world! Finishing a book is always bittersweet, but I'm pretty sure we'll see Scott and Deer again sometime.
