18.01.2026 07:30 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Cool, I got to use it professionally for 8 years and it was great. Back to C# at the moment though, but Iโd love to use it again as my daily driver.
24.12.2025 08:35 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Do you use FSharp professionally?
19.12.2025 12:15 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0Maybe not the first time but a guy I know made this course and changed the way I use git www.pluralsight.com/courses/rewr...
03.09.2025 12:08 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Time to move into marketing and sales
17.04.2025 21:38 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0It should still work if the constructor params match the arguments. Iโve been deserialising records in .NET for years.

- Normalise Mistakes
- Be a part of the Team
- Set Expectations
- Be a Facilitator
- Create win-win solutions
Establishing a social contract with the team is a great idea, what are the doโs and donโt of the team.

Excited for first session of the day at #DDDBne
07.12.2024 00:12 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Butโฆ we canโt actually stop others from doing it if they really want to.
04.12.2024 03:18 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Did this mean those optimisations would apply to all dotnet languages?
30.11.2024 20:38 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0This would be super useful for api libraries wouldnโt it?

18.11.2024 04:35 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Iโm daniel little dev in most places. I mostly talk about the web, dotnet, functional programming and culture. Finding my feet here, but this is the closest Iโve felt to what Twitter used to be like for me.
17.11.2024 09:16 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I lot of folks joining so I made a starter pack. Itโs non-exhaustive, I like too many people here. This should help get people going though:

08.10.2023 03:53 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0One classic example is different fields being editable when creating vs updating resources. Another is that you can then have rich type safe domain models instead of being restricted to what you can directly deserialize.
06.10.2023 04:25 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Separating your Domain Models from your DTO's is great advice. It decouples your domain from getting mixed up with web and persistence concerns. These models can seem similar when starting out a new project, but In my experience they always, sometimes quickly, diverge.
