GBH tried to sell the home of a legendary radio station. It kicked off a proxy war for the soul of audio. “Woods Hole tends to be pretty passionate about things, and when people get startled they get angry.”

A group of middle schoolers came to tour WCAI today.

ME: "Do any of you own a radio?"

ONE KID: "My Grandpa does."

Fascinating Audio AI piece about "...what it means to be an audio storyteller in a world of infinite, synthetic voices. ... what will be gained and lost if and when we let AI into parts of our work, and our world?"

Not sure at all. Based on observational listening. But "right?" is gaining. Particularly among interviewees in their area of expertise.

In the competitive world of filler words, "right?" seems to be overtaking "you know." "Like" still in the lead.
