At the BFI two weeks ago, I watched Animal Farm. It was the 70th anniversary of its UK release. The continuing presence of Napoleons in the world, despite Orwell originally caricaturing Stalin, is truly frightening.

My first day here and wondering what should be my first post. Then I took this fluke picture of today's optimistically blue sky after the weekend's Storm Bert - seems a fair metaphor for late adopter me, flying after the rest of you cool birds already up there enjoying @bsky.app

I feel a bit like a slow migrating bird trying to catch up with the others who are more switched on and already flying south from the Musky winter! The sight of your bird following the butterfly finally got me flapping my wings, ta!
