The ads ICE are running in the Chicago area are sickening. Guess they’re running similar ads in all the “sanctuary cities.” Clearly targeting disgruntled cops and uneducated racists. Can you imagine if our country actually had moral values and paid teachers $100K with a $50K signing bonus instead?

Great flick! Always the first film I recommend to people for scary season. Then they say, “You’re telling me to watch a Swedish-Danish silent horror film from 1922?” And I’m like “yep.”

I don’t remember the last time I felt as excited for a pair of upcoming films as I am for Hamnet & Train Dreams! Maggie O’Farrell’s Hamnet is a top 5 21st C novel for me. Chloe Zhao. Jessie Buckley. Paul Mescal. Train Dreams from Denis Johnson’s beautiful novella. Score by Bryce Dessner & Nick Cave!

This man will not be fired for calling for the murder of American citizens, yet multiple journalists/reporters/teachers lost their job for accurately reporting things Charlie Kirk actually said and stood for.

But it’s the “violent left” that’s the problem

Ridiculous. He tried to steal his election to remain in power just like Trump, so of course Lil Marco stands up for the coup leader. But the fact that this is the official position of the United States is disgusting.

True, and thanks! Generally, I’m a patient person possessing that attitude. On the other hand, I feel so close on a number of writing fronts, without much to show for it yet after many years. Sometimes the frustration creeps in…ha!
