Black Metal is one of, if not my favourite genre of heavy/extreme music, I adore it's visceral intense nature, dungeon synth comes with that. What also comes with that is having to Google any new band I find in case they're right wing cunts, which I'm fine with as there's a wealth of leftie BM too

I got the hat - Dungeon Synth is having a bit of a moment in the Zeitgeist currently, which is rad because firstly, I get cunty cute merch and get to go to shows, and secondly it'll piss off the basement dwelling black metal "purists", so win win *signed a Black Metal stan*

Thinking of starting a blog for some long form text posts, I'm going to review all the demos I've downloaded for Next Fest (which are all horror) - it's equal parts research for my own horror games and equal parts espooki season.

I enjoy how much my poor Steam recommendations algorithm is fighting for its life, flicking between the game psychological/survival horror games I'm mainly playing at the moment, to the more calm farming like games my partner plays on my Steam, one of these is not like the others

So I've been fiddling with Pico-8 and got this so far, the life/score is purely being drawn and not tracked, and there are no enemies as of yet but still! Outside of a Hammurabi assignment in Uni I have 0 gamedev experience (and my general dev experience is very rusty) so I'm chuffed!
