I wish I could experience it for the first time again - and simultaneously think it gets better each time you watch it. reminds me of the most strangely tender moments of ITYSL in that way. I can’t stop thinking about it

it is so well done I was in the car on the way home when I kinda gasped and remembered that he isn't actually two actors. like at one point they share a cigarette. it's INCREDIBLE

I LOVED IT - and woo boy does it have me examining my own (white) lifelong consumption of Black culture. so much to learn from this incredible - and yes, fun - film and I plan to see it again and again

he’s getting as many of my dollars as possible too - and I hardly ever go to the theater. it’s that special, that incredible, that important PLUS fun, gorgeous, and - particularly That Scene - a truly transcendent experience

I swear I will never forget experiencing that scene. so good it made me think every other time I called something “transcendent” was a joke

totally agree - I loved it all but whoa, the *sound* was incredible in the theater!!

I rarely go to the theater let alone multiple times for one flick, but I was scheduling second and third dates on my calendar on the way home from the first

I plan to see it multiple times in the theater (something I never do) because it’s INCREDIBLE - what a wonderful bonus to help to make it a success they can’t possibly deny 💅

ohhhh I can't wait for your thoughts!! so incredible as soon as the credits rolled I was checking my calendar to plot a second trip. (also I could barely breathe whenever Wunmi Mosaku was onscreen, STUNNING)

That Scene somehow had me crying dancing laughing frozen jaw-dropped IN AWE all at once - truly transcendent. (PSA: don’t leave until the final FINAL credits roll!)
