Singularity Some of the stars we worship are already dead. Needlescratch of light — fatal cosmic dose administered. What must stars see when they look at us? Planet Killers. Life Stealers. Greed / Inequality / Hate? Will they glimpse the delicacy of love? or the beauty of an asymmetrical smile? or hope that cascades like waterfalls over cheek crags? Or are we already gone? In Denmark, farmers are required by law to grow field flowers for bees on 5 % of their land…. 💐🐝

Rose on Its Vine Just because something is miniscule, must it always be insecure? I'm the littlest bit in love with you; should you like, you could make it more. You recognise me as you run sometimes and I stroll in a suit and tie. Whenever you grin, I would grin you back, were I ever that kind of guy. I'm a curious breed who's most at home with a host of fluorescent pens and I beaver away on romantic graphs well concealed from my curious friends. I wish to uncover a single rose as we cross on a winter's day. I suspect from the time I impose myself, you'll start running a different way and the littlest bit is my favourite part, so the rose on its vine shall stay.

Those short little lines (with good use of line breaks) are both impactful and rhythmically pleasing.

we write with trembling hands,
not for applause,
but so someone, somewhere,
might feel a little less alone.

We crack open our chests
and bleed beauty
on purpose.

And if the world
doesn’t understand
that’s okay.
The ones who need it
will.

I delete because permanence feels like a trap a monument to every raw confession I wish I could swallow back. I delete because silence feels cleaner than the messy residue of truth, because absence is easier to curate than a record of my hunger. I delete because someday you might read it and know too much or worse, not care. I delete because if I leave no trace, I can pretend I was never vulnerable, never reaching, never begging in plain sight. I delete because it’s the closest thing I have to taking back my own heart because it should never have been left in a stranger's hands.

I delete
