Bluesky now has over 10 million users, and I was #6,976,208! :p

For the record, it is always a bad time to launch an indie game. There's no "good time" to launch an indie game - there's worse times than usual - but there's no such thing as a "good time". You have to make your own "good time" through community-building.

Btw for those looking to meetup at Riptide I am down to do siginings for posters or other items but with how many people at ltc and a larger ammount here im not gonna do photos, I will still try to sign everything I can so feel free to say hi if you see me.

Hypothesis: if/when a critical mass journalists and editors migrate to Bluesky, Twitter activity will drop off a cliff.

Why? Because politicians, campaigners & pundits will quickly follow, then their followers will, and this part of the network is key part of Twitter’s current ‘town square’ value.

BlueSky feels a lot comfier and cozier to just post to and interact on 😭💖

Compared to Twitter, the algorithm here is normal and there are fewer bots, no forced advertising.
So I think it's very comfortable.
I have some great friends and followers on Twitter so I can't move here completely, but if they all moved here then here would probably be my main platform obviously

In all seriousness one of the nicest things about the last couple of days here on Bluesky is watching all our new Brazilian pals experience the same little burst of happiness and relief that I and I think a lot of other folks felt at getting away from the hot mess known as the former Twitter.

Man, twitter's basically dead without the Brazilians. I didn't realize how much you guys were carrying that shithole. Nothing left now but bots, trolls, and engagement bait.

Please for the love of god business majors need to stop pushing games as a service business models on game devs. There are only a handful of those that ever work and you think you will be one, the profane ego on you

Not sure what to say on the higher chance of 3rd kits I haven't ruled it out. I want justice for weapons like jet squelcher and dread that got fucked over by the options they were given. I want more options for cooler. I want more chances for hype stuff like zip jet or even crab.

This is a big part of what I like about this site especially since not using twitter. Catching up here is fast and obv with like 3x the people here to match twitter itd be longer but not by that much.
It's much less time consuming you really notice it when its your main platform.
