Memorial Building (Framingham City Hall) will reopen on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.

Due to ongoing snow removal and site safety considerations, there will be a delayed opening at 11 a.m. onFebruary 24, at the Callahan Center and both libraries.

Curbside trash and recycling collection will resume on Tuesday, February 24.

Residents are reminded:
• Do not place barrels at the curb until Tuesday morning
• Barrels must be placed in driveways and not in snowbanks
• Putting barrels out Monday night will impede snow plowing operations

Snow day for Framingham Public Schools students on Monday, February 23.
No before or after school activities. No athletics, etc.

There are more than 2,100 hydrants in the City. Firefighters are out digging out the hydrants still

If you are able, please:
* Shovel out fire hydrants down to the valve
* Clear a path at least 3 feet on all sides of the hydrant

Framingham Public Schools students will have their second snow day on Tuesday, January 27

City of Framingham municipal buildings and offices, including the Memorial Building and Framingham Public Library, will be open on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. normal hours.

Monday's curbside trash & recycling collection will happen on Tuesday, January 27.

The #Framingham DPW crews will be on a one-day delayed schedule for the rest of this week.

* If possible, shovel a path from the hydrant to the street

Reminder Framingham Public Library will be closing at noon on Wednesday, December 24. The libraries will be closed on Christmas but will re-open for normal hours on Friday, December 26.

Mayor Charlie Sisitsky has ordered that on-street parking meters be free in designated areas of the city to support residents and visitors during the holiday shopping season.

Parking meters will be free on Concord Street, Hollis Street, and Union Avenue through January 2, 2026

Due to the potential for extreme cold temperatures on Friday night, December 5, City’s Holiday Block Party, including free hot cocoa, popcorn, cookies, the bookmobile CANCELLED.

The City still will hold its 34th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6:30 p.m. outside in a short 10 minute ceremony.

The City of Framingham will hold its annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Tuesday, November 11, at 11:11 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, located at the corner of Concord Street and Guadalcanal Road.
