It’s USB-powered. The filters are $12 each. I bought a purifier and a filter.

With many people forced to return to work, this in a cubicle could reduce risk of infection, as well as reduce airborne contaminants like wildfire smoke. In breathing zone.

It's been on my radar for a while, but I haven't seen too many zero cost options for 2500+ subscribers. Ghost is about CAD$ 1000 per year for 2500+ subs.

This pretty picture is of the province’s smaller Science Centre near their private spa at Ontario Place. The price tag is $1.4 billion. The existing building only requires about $350 mil over 20 years (and about $30 mil for priority repairs). All this based on the AG report.

I love my North Box air filters!
I have the NorthBox Polaris Standard 6 fan models with a CADR of 290 CFM each in every room. So quiet at 35 dB I can hardly hear they are on! Very durable and filter changes simple and cheap.

Why is Doug Ford changing OSAP?

It's simple: he is trying to balance the post-secondary books on the backs of low and middle income students and their families.

His changes to OSAP will cost students up to $3500 more per year in debt.

We deserve affordable education.

24.02.2026 03:16 β€” πŸ‘ 88    πŸ” 35    πŸ’¬ 4    πŸ“Œ 6

It's easy for Ford to gloss over the past, so I'm glad someone kept receipts on what's happened to higher ed in Ontario. I would add to this detailed thread that reducing housing costs will also go a long way to fixing the affordability problems the low and middle income classes face.

I feel this so strongly. Covid was a test of our moral integrity & decency -- *not just elites, but all of us* -- and we failed.

I genuinely think one reason Covid has been memory-holed so hard, & so crusted w/ myths & conspiracy theories, is that on some level we know this & are ashamed.

Manitoba's Joss Reimer is named Canada's new chief public health officer | CBC News Health Minister Marjorie Michel has announced that the face of Manitoba's pandemic immunization efforts, Dr. Joss Reimer, will be Canada's new chief public health officer.

Relieved Bonnie Henry did not end up being the new chief public health officer. But there’s a lot Reimer needs to address to pull public health out of the dumpster fire and I wonder if she will (/will be allowed to).

Danielle Smith keeps feeding the beast If there’s a Pandora’s Box that Alberta's premier hasn’t opened yet, it’s not for a lack of trying.

My latest: because one national unity crisis wasn't enough, Danielle Smith has decided to provoke another one β€”all, of course, in the name of placating the separatists that run her party.
