Agreed, this is very scary

But they are good at, even when Dems do show anger or emotion, labeling them as hysterical or silly or inappropriate. And I think there are a lot of reasons why that often works, but part of it is that I do feel many Dems suffer from a lack of sincerity/believeability .

Because in the end, no matter how bad some of these maga are, once they speak up (like MTG) they get applauded and their past transgressions melt away. But a Dem like Raskins who has been fighting all along doesn’t get the same coverage and level of praise. IDK, I have feels about it.

I’m very interested in this dynamic in our politics where Dems can do something and it gets maybe some coverage, but when a R (like Massie or Tillis) does something similar, it’s applauded. Even by me! It feels more serious or sincere or something, I can’t describe it. But it makes me sad too.

I don’t know about you, but I find this terrifying.
