The decision to write a go function for this was based on the ever-evolving criteria of things to search and hold in state, the resulting bash script was brittle and longer than the Go function. Go is just better for this sort of stuff.

I get about 5~ notifications a day from new accounts who are paying to be promoted in Twitter, with the aim of either scamming me or getting me to sign up to their nudes site.
