Professor รine Ryall has been re-elected unanimously as Chair of the Aarhus Convention Compliance Committee.
The Convention is a multilateral agreement linking the environment and human rights.
She was elected Chair in 2021 and re-elected to serve a second term as Chair in Feb 2026.

They've also been in breach of their planning permission over the last five years for incredibly bright lights shining into people's houses and using fake trees instead of real landscaping.
The people here have had enough and they want safer streets.
I spoke to the Irish Times earlier about the situation on Old Cabra Road where a petrol station owned by Lissan Coal Company is preventing the delivery of safe pedestrian and cycle infrastructure and faster bus journey times because it affects their commercial profits.
