Reading environmental reports for gas power stations and data centres lately.

All prepared by huge consultancies which appear not to understand the basic laws of physics. Very often they assume that power stations are 100% efficient

In many cases proceedings have to be issued in the applicant's name which immediately goes onto High Court Search and a subsequent application made to the judge for anonymisation Which may or may not filter through to the Central Office.

As far as I can see there is still no real procedure internally in the Courts Service to protect the identities of applicants including minors and abuse survivors.

The Courts Service lost before the DPC and took a Circuit Court appeal where they lost and then appealed to the High Court before eventually giving up on the basis that the GDPR had come into force

As we said the last time it won't happen again. I took a successful data protection complaint a few years ago against the Courts Service for publishing the name of an abuse survivor by mistakenly publishing an unredacted judgment.

In this guy’s case I’d say it is, at best, 50/50 that he even reads it all himself.

Dairy plant says it is 'not connected' to major Cork fish kill after EPA wastewater report North Cork Creameries said there was no link to its site and the fish kill near Lombardstown, “a full 10km away from our facility”.

Whether or not they caused the horrific fish kill, serious questions need to be asked why North Cork Creameries has been repeatedly in breach of their EPA discharge licence.

Do we need 46,000 fish to be directly attributable to their pollution to stop it? 🧵
