If it happens, he couldnβt stand but Reform could/would put up another candidate. I wonder if the good people of Clayton would vote them back in?
09.12.2025 11:45 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Only just. The Music of the Night sounds more like The Wheezing of the Night.
09.12.2025 11:42 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I was more than a bit disappointed to see Michael Crawford receiving his βgongβ from Trump last night. OK, itβs not a knighthood and itβs practically useless but does accepting it affirm his support for Trump? You may recall both Lionel Richie and Tom Cruise turned it down because it was Trump!
09.12.2025 10:52 β π 18 π 1 π¬ 2 π 2Behave. I didnβt say it would happen. I inferred it could. Big differenceπ©
09.12.2025 10:36 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The fact that Vote Leave were fined Β£61,000 (max the Electoral Commission could impose) is confirmation of fraud, either deliberately or unintentionally. It also confirms that referendums are considered separately under UK law when it comes to overspending. No party is considering a review.
09.12.2025 10:34 β π 8 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Oddly and sadly, the law around election fraud is far more strict than that for referendums. Vote Leave exceeded its spending limit by Β£449,079 and committed other offences, including delivering an inaccurate spending return and failing to provide documents. Fined just Β£61.000!
09.12.2025 10:25 β π 21 π 4 π¬ 2 π 0You know about these things, why has Lee Anderson never appeared on BBC Question Time?
09.12.2025 10:15 β π 5 π 1 π¬ 2 π 0The fact the police are investigating Reform over alleged election overspend is potentially far more serious than you might imagine. If found guilty it could actually lead to a VOID election. Farage could lose his seat and be barred from office for 3 years and a by election could be called! π€

A MUST READ from @bearlypolitics.co.uk

What an appalling system. This is the kind of thing Farage wants.
Thank God for the NHS. We must protect it!

Someone claiming JSA whilst working isnβt in the same category as Michele Mone. The cost of taking someone to an overstretched court could take years to be heard and the fine would probably be a few pounds every week. Itβs more likely a caution would be issued. Not much of a deterrent though is it?
08.12.2025 19:15 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I have confidence that the people who know about these things wouldnβt dare give the codes to Trump. Nuclear Football my arse!
08.12.2025 18:58 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Thereβs a lot of emphasis here on disabled people which is a non sequitur. The real issue is about fraudulent claims from who so ever is making them. Thereβs no issue with genuine claimants from any quarter as far as iβm concerned.
08.12.2025 18:31 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Thatβs very true.
08.12.2025 11:34 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Me too, but itβs not the genuine cases weβre talking about.
08.12.2025 11:33 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Ed Davey has raised one of the most serious questions in British politics: why have Nigel Farage and his senior team repeatedly aligned themselves with Kremlin-backed media and messaging?
08.12.2025 11:18 β π 69 π 38 π¬ 5 π 2No disagreement there David.
08.12.2025 10:45 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I wonder why he didnβt mention Jim Davidson? Funny that. Not.
08.12.2025 10:44 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Key point - there is no Reform without Farage. It's also why it's far too early to write the Conservative party's obituary.

08.12.2025 10:11 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0You probably do know someone who is claiming βJob Seekersβ benefits but who is either working and not declaring it or has no intention of seeking or getting a job. Not to be confused with genuine claimants. Itβs reckoned, we, thatβs you and me fork out Β£9.5B in overpaid benefits every year!
08.12.2025 10:04 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 14 π 1Yes. Even if they get an interview, the real cheats make sure they fail the interview so they can continue to claim job seekers allowance. The mistake this govt and the last seem to be making is to tar everyone with the same brush.
08.12.2025 09:33 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 3 π 0Insults? I asked if you knew me. What if your comments about me are based on your own bigotry? You know nothing about me or my own experiences in order for you to form a judgement. Thatβs not an insult. Thatβs just fact.
08.12.2025 09:23 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Absolutely Anna. And you know my concern is with benefit cheats, not genuine cases.
08.12.2025 09:18 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0You think you know me George?
08.12.2025 09:12 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0One βwheelchair userβ in our group of 38 did have a fold up stick but she only βneededβ it when we were queuing for toilets etc and all of us then allowed her to move to the front. At all other times she was as mobile as everyone else.
08.12.2025 09:10 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 9 π 2Honestly, I think I might have been on that trip. When we got off the plane, not one but 3 wheelchairs waiting for the very people in the group whom I had been walking the hills with. They all got transferred to electric vehicles and taken to the front of the queue at arrivals.
