I'll be leading this in person on Saturday 13th, with the @eastpoolminent team leading the other walks on 14th, 20th & 21st

This work is a song of grief and awakening β for me, those close to me, and to Kernow. To shake off the crushing burdens of those systems and claim the joy and power that is ours.
I feel shaped by this land, from playing in abandoned mine workings & swimming in rock pools, to sitting in a giant's hand-prints on & honouring Knockers with my pasty crusts. But I am also shaped by inflexible structures & systems that seek to wield power over all our lives, & which have
It builds on my story, Catching Copper, & draws on my memories of the industrial, rural, & personal landscapes of Kernow. Both the original story & the show consider the increasing inequality in social change, the impact of land development on our environment, and the resilience of Cornish culture.

I'm excited to share full details of my new exhibition, Catching Copper, at Michellβs Engine House @eastpoolminent from Saturday 9th August to Thursday 25th September.
The show includes film, sculpture, and drawing, and is installed across all 4 floors of the historic engine house, and online
I'm grateful to Jade & team at @EastPoolMineNT for hosting me at The Dry this Summer. It's rare to have the opportunity to work in such a large scale space, it has allowed me to take a different approach to the work I'm making for my Catching Copper show at Michell's Engine House opening in August
