but maybe someone has told you that you only think this way because you don't understand the tech, and that's bad, because by understanding genAI you can actually hate it much better 🧵

I need to find something like this to keep me focused...no matter how awful it is, if it gets the job done, it gets the job done yknow 🤣

This was definetly my experience!!! Its such a lonely process drawing comics in my room but attending a con made me realise there are real people out there that read and enjoy my works and its so motivating!

It's a cliché but it's a cliché because it's true: comics is 99% a solitary job where you can feel you're just chucking stuff into a void. Cons remind you there are lots of people out there reading it and having the connection to your work you hope they will.

Its so refreshing not having to see trash and ads all the time...feels like the old twitter again 🥹

I feel like with how twitter had fkd their algorithm where all u see are el*n m*sk political pushes and rage bait or ads, genuine art posts get heavily suppressrd nowadays. I used to use twitter to browse art but nowadays im lucky to find a new artist...
