the one constant is wishing there was more time in a day. not sure if it's just because of being in my 30's where my decrepit brain is in fast forward all the time, or if it's like stress induced where everything just takes me longer to do. I just really want to be able to do more in a single day. 😔

Hoping I can have maybe some stuff to post soon-ish, been sorta popping in here to just say brain bad, but for whatever reason I feel pretty good today 🙏

Been in a depressive slump for a couple weeks now, but only noticed the past few days. Feels like it's been harder to enjoy things. Every day kinda just has this pointless feeling to it.

I feel like I've endlessly been messing with either regular normals and specular maps, and now pbr just over and over trying to get things to look perfect. I gotta say though at the very least doing regular skin is so killer compared to fur. Like the style for skin I feel like I understand very well

Here's a little preview of the pbr stuff I've been working on for a long time now. I'm using the occlusion and roughness channels, and then my normal map. The body skin itself is from velour. Hoping I can put together some furry and anime skins for SL soon-ish 🙏

I keep procrastinating more than doing actual work, but one of my side ideas I fixated on today is what if Leon was on the Jake body instead of ebody.

I'm really trying to put together PBR body materials that blow away the older blinn mats. I'll say though doing fur is MUCH harder than doing skin so that really demotivated me for a looong time 🤕

I think I've been cooking again the past couple days with my material sets. I had started over so many times with doing body fur for furry avatars. Like doing a Lot of work just to not like the end result. I think I finally have something I like now, and the right method for making more styles.

ooughhh thank you, this shcitt hurted. like every aspect fought against me getting the thing in. the torrent compact case really does not have the space to work in, but somehow it looks like it belongs in it. like the psu led bar at the top, then the gpu light bar, and everything being an exact fit.

insane there's less than 2 mm of space between the gpu and the case fan lol

this vertical gpu mount was so damn hard to put in my tiny as hell case. everything is like a few millimeters from not fitting.
the spacing is even worse when you use the fancy tilt feature but I Had to tilt it because the gpu power cable is directly under the cpu tower.

damn dude, a bit worried about my combo of having a ryzen 7 9700x cpu in an ASRock motherboard lol.

It's worked fine for 8 months now, and that's with 105w tdp and PBO on the whole time. Going to hope for smooth sailing still 🙏

I think the only way I could make either of my desktop computers any Gayer is if I got cable extensions to make things look a bit nicer.

Don't think I have any reason to get an aio unless I get a CPU that actually gets hot enough for it.

Well I bought a pair of ram sticks to double what I have, and a funny vertical GPU mount as a liddal treat.

been looking into aio and vertical gpu mount options for my computer just because tinkering with pc stuff together is fun

but damn it's like information overload on making sure you get the right thing if you want a smooth install experience.
