Löytäisinpä vielä sen tekstin, mutten osaa googlata tarpeeksi hyvin.

Hesarissa oli joskus viime vuoden aikana juttu aiheesta sodasta palautuminen missä tutkija väitti, että oikeasti terapia ei olisi ollut yhtä tehokas keino kuin se kova työ mitä sodan jälkeen jouduttiin tekemään maksaakseen sotakorvauksia. "Koska trauma oli fyysinen ja niin oli työ".

I think one reason for the differing views here is something one could call a cognitive/educational elite vs. hardcore business and/or uneducated usage of LLM:s.

Surely, if you use it as a search engine, directing you to content that you then review yourself, the use case is somewhat different.

My point being: the LLM didn't "come up with a solution," it could only copy-paste it (via a trillion model parameters) because of helpful humans online.

Now, by using the LLM I receive this knowledge without any reference to either the friendly helper (which I otherwise would have thanked by upping his/her/their status on the forum with a thumbs-up),

Broader point: I usually ask an LLM only when I can't find a solution any other way. At this point, oftentimes, I only get the same suggestions I've already tried, and after that, hallucinations.

He seems like a sympathetic fellow (sound political views), but I guess as a scientist, you just can't let it be. You have to advance.

AI is used in robots to keep them balanced. Just saying: if 3 years ago all coders were like, "Yeah, this looks a bit like coding, but it's nothing like it" - the atmosphere is not quite that anymore.
