Joy’s full name is Joy-Noel, because she allegedly was rescued on Christmas Eve. She’s such a sweet girl. So glad my parents have her, and my kiddos get to spend time with her. Ayla even got her a little gift from her school’s holiday market 🥹

Re: the thread below - it’s why I got off of other platforms. It isn’t as bad on here, but it’s a thing. I just got tired of asking people to look at things with nuance and then being told that I was wrong for even daring to think that.

This is something I and my fellow hyper literate types have a really hard time grasping. It’s frustrating to think you’re being really clear in writing, but still get wildly misunderstood because you’ve overestimated people’s literacy level.

You can’t know everything and be an expert on everything. And that’s okay! If there’s anything I have actually learned as I’ve gotten older, it’s that, while I know a few things, I am more and more aware of how much I don’t know.

The retweeted bad argument has a point, but once again, it doesn’t see big picture. I am a big believer in that, while everyone deserves a voice, some people have better credentials and/or expertise than others to comment/discuss/explain things.
