It's become readily apparent that bigotry and stupidity are now major factors in today's political climate.
I dare say that there appears to be a great deal of overlap.

For what it's worth, here's how I see it. It's a loose affiliation of evangelists, white supremacists, billionaires and techbros. They're using the Orange One to bust democracy. When Orange dies or goes to prison it'll be a free-for-all.

Fascism is when a political entity hijacks the government because it doesn't trust the voters to do what it wants.

They don't want to re-open the government, they want to replace it.

Hitler and Mussolini didn't take over their governments they replaced them. Do you really think the GOP is going to re-open ours? The sooner blue states stop sending our federal tax dollars to Washington, the sooner we will be prepared for what's coming.

That's 3.5% in a functioning republic. It's going to take more in a Banana Republic.
