Regarding his offer to bring them back early, I can't think of any other reason for that other than for political points. It really wouldn't make sense to spend the money and time on another dragon especially when they could just have the astronauts become part of the next crew rotation.

Crew-8 is on SpaceX's Crew Dragon. NASA has been using it for ISS crew rotations for several years now (Starliner was supposed to be NASA branching out to not have to rely on only one company for that)

They were moved to the Crew-8 mission months ago and the vehicle that will bring them back has been docked to the ISS since September

Shot from my backyard a few years ago. I will revisit this object soon.

The Orion Nebula shines magnificently in false color, with Hydrogen-alpha being represented by Reds, and Oiii being represented by Greens. Blues here are represented as a 50/50 mix of the two. The center core is blown out due to the sheer brightness and exposure length needed to get detail in the darker regions.

Prenumbral Lunar Eclipse, in HDR. The top right quarter of the full moon has a very prominent shadow over it with a slight red hue, reminiscent of sunsets on earth. Stars dot the background.

Most likely my final re-process of M31 before starting on the Orion constellation during the next new moon. More contrast and a darker background

A lot better in my opinion when compared to the previous one.

All orbital rockets (with only a few exceptions) are expended into the ocean once used, with starship this is only temporary while they improve the design

The horsehead and flame nebulae shine brightly in vibrant red and orange, respectively. Stars dot the scene in a bluish hue, reminiscent of the faulty processing between Ha and RGB channels.

This is about 30 minutes of the Orion Nebula (M42) taken this January with a Canon EOS 350D and a 75-300mm kit lens (300mm, f/6.3).

I'll re-attempt this with more integration time using a Rokinon 135mm in the coming weeks once I won't have to stay up too long for it.
