A passenger train crosses the Stone Arch Bridge over the Mississippi River. The train is led by two box, pug nosed GE P30CH diesels, and is made up of a dozen round Amfleet cars. Everything is painted silver with red, white, and blue stripes. In the distance the Pillsbury A flour mill can be seen.
A brief look into an alternate dimension- on July 11 1976 steve55126 captured this unusual Amtrak move. Two P30CHs and a long string of Amfleet cars are headed west across the Stone Arch Bridge, bound for the Pacific Northwest.
