I got in on Chainheart which blew my mind. It's right on par with PP and I still listen to those two albums all the time. Entry into a band definitely matters

Especially knowing it was written more like PP and Townsend convinced them to shorten the songs, cut out solos and make it more mass appeal. I would kill to hear the original demos

I actually much prefer FFN5 to NBC.

I have a lot to say about these first 4 albums since I've listened to them (and Figure Number 5) countless times in the last quarter century.

For me Predators Portrait is the peak, it's the full realization of their sound. NBC was a huge letdown, took me a long time to not hate it.
