In Nov 2020 a landslide into a glacial lake in BC triggered a tsunami & glacial lake outburst flood & eventually a large turbidity current in the sea. In this @jgrearthsurface.bsky.social paper, we look at the sea surface turbidity that resulted.

Tall cottonwood trees grow parallel to the opposite channel. It's early spring so the trees have no leaves. Some of the shrubs along the shore are just starting to get leaves. A person is wading in the stream.
